Shawday & Charlie are some of the chilliest people I’ve ever met! We adventured throughout SF for their engagement session, and the city blessed us with warm and sunny weather. Karl the Fog took a break on this day and decided to let the sun come out and play 🤣

We started out the session at a spot that has an awesome view of the Transamerica Pyramid. We were lucky to find parking on this busy street! Then we drove to Clarion Alley, a super cool alley with lots of progressive and socially-aware murals, and magically, we found parking. The last place we went to is Battery Spencer, where we braved the wind and crowds for photos with the iconic golden gate bridge and a beautiful bouquet from The Bay Blossoms. It was all worth it 😍 The SF gods blessed us again with finding parking here!!!

What made this engagement session so special is that Shawday and Charlie are eloping! I know so many couples who elope feel like they don’t deserve engagement photos, but that is not true. Couples who choose to elope can still celebrate their engagement session with photos, just like everyone else. Engagement sessions help you become comfortable in front of the camera and allows you to get used to your photographer!

Shawday, Charlie and I had really good conversations about life, what we’re all going through and just getting to know each other. I feel so touched that they shared just a bit of their stories with me. These two are the kind of people that just stick with you forever, ya know what I’m saying. They got such good vibes, good people with good intentions and they also love food, like me!! Their idea of a perfect Saturday is a mini day trip up to the city for brunch and exploring! Cap off the day with a night out dancing! (and then there are the Saturdays that you do NOTHING but binge watch Netflix and they are perfect Saturdays too). I’m getting all the feels!!

To Shawday & Charlie— thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful day. It is SOOO obvious to everyone how much respect and love you have for each other. Every time I look through your photos, I just fall in love with you two over and over again! Like a rom-com 😭
