Cheryl and Marc planned on having a big wedding in the Bay Area, but the universe had different plans for them. When the pandemic hit, they had to cancel their original wedding plans. However, they didn’t want COVID to stop them from being pronounced partners for life, so this past October, they decided to have an intimate ceremony right on the Lyon Street Steps in San Francisco

With just Cheryl’s boys, one close friend and another friend who acted as an officiant, Cheryl and Marc exchanged their personal vows on a cloudy Saturday in San Francisco. There were onlookers who went through the steps, and all were excited to see these two souls getting married. Not only were they getting married, but Cheryl and Marc are also expecting their sweet baby towards the end of the year!! Double the fabulous news, which is something that we need in this year.

What was really unique about the ceremony was that there were references to Star Trek (which Cheryl’s boys really enjoy). Their friend officiant spoke some parts in Klingon, and the boys ran towards Mark with “swords” to welcome him into the family!
