Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton Proposal
The Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay is such a stunning place- it’s no wonder why Addy chose this particular location to propose to Namrata.
His original plan was to propose during a hike, but that was scrapped. He reached out to me, and we began to plan! We found the spot for the proposal, and we decided mid-morning on Thanksgiving Day. Before that day came, he mentioned casually to Namrata that there was a work event at the Ritz Carlton and they were allowed to bring a guest. Namrata didn’t think much of it and was excited to go.
The day finally arrived! Addy and I texted each other that we were both on our way, and he even sent a selfie of him and Namrata to show what they were wearing.
They arrived and went to the (agreed) spot for the proposal. I was there acting like a tourist with my camera, and he asked if I could take a phone photo of them. Of course, I said yes, and then I offered to take some photos of them on my camera as they were dressed so nicely and that I’ll send the photos to them via their email. I got Namrata in position (facing away from the water), so I signaled to Addy that it was time. I instructed to Namrata that on the count of three, she’ll whip her hair and turn around.
She was shocked to see Addy on his knees and began tearing with emotion. This was an intimate and sweet moment to witness, that even those passing by stopped to see what was happening. He popped the famous question Will you marry me? and she nodded her head and said YES!
We took some fun post-proposal engagement photos, and y’all know that champagne was gonna be involved 🥂 These two were just giggling throughout their time in front of the camera!
