Santa Rosa Sonoma County Proposal and Engagement Photos

Last May, Alexis reached out to me for Save-The-Date photos, even though her and Eric weren’t officially engaged yet, she still wanted to take some photos for the occasion. Little did she know, Eric and I had been planning in secret for the proposal!! We met up at the location to scout out some spots and talked about our signal so that he would know when to propose. He even contacted Alexis’ brother and his girlfriend to be a part of the surprise and told them to hide at the second spot.

It was a beautiful and sunny afternoon, perfect for the special occasion! Alexis looked extra fairy-like with her flower crown from Pedy’s Petals. We warmed up by taking really cute photos with Rambo, their little pup, before we headed into the whimsical field of flowers (Rambo was a little tired and rested in the car for the rest of the photo session). We had so much fun playing in this flower field before heading up to the second location where it was a little higher so that you can see the sunset.

We took some more photos before Eric dropped down to his knees and asked Alexis to be his forever partner in life. Alexis’ brother and his girlfriend came out with flowers, cider and music to commemorate this awesome moment!! Our signal was originally supposed to have Eric answer some questions about Alexis, but he got a little too excited and immediately proposed.

We spent the rest of the evening just catching the sunset together. Alexis thought it was gonna be a regular photo session, but it turned out to be an amazing proposal and engagement session!!

Cheers to you, Alexis and Eric—thank you for including me in this special moment. We laughed so much throughout this session at all the things. Can’t wait for the wedding and to see your baby girl 💕
