Cindy and Seth had been thinking of adding a husky to their family for a while, and after a lot of research, they concluded that a husky would be a fabulous addition to their family.

They drove up to the breeder in Marysville to check out the cute husky puppies. As soon as Cindy and Seth set their eyes on this particular husky puppy with bright blue eyes and unique markings on his face, they knew he was the one. They also knew that he won’t be a little puppy for long and wanted to document his puppy days.

We started at Armstrong Redwoods and ended it at Blind Beach in Jenner, CA. When we arrived at Blind Beach, Seth was so kind and brought a little grill to make food for us. Little Rex (or Rexy, as he is affectionately called) munched on a bone for being a good boy during the first part of the photo session in Armstrong Woods.

Rexy is very vocal, as all huskies are, and he is rambunctious and wants to play with all the dogs and eat all the cookies and treats. He saw the beach for the first time, and needless to say, he had fun running into the water with his hooman dad Seth and playing with a friendly bull terrier!

My favorite thing about Rex is when he does his doggy stretches, he lets out a little ‘toot’ and runs away. —Cindy

When we are laying in bed, Rex will stick his head under the covers and bury his head in between us, signaling that he wants to join us. It’s one of my favorite things about him! –seth
